Gonzalo Perez was born in Vilaque, Bolivia and moved with his family to La Paz when he was ten. At sixteen he wrote and published En la Andaluza Sorata and also wrote wrote several articles about ancient civilizations that were published in a local newspaper. At eighteen he went to Montreal, Canada where he studied journalism, English, French and jewellery making. He later discovered the power of the mind and learned how to use it and it's energies in a variety of ways, including helping to heal the sick.

When his daughter, Julie, was critically wounded in a car accident he used this mental power and prayer to help her recovery. Julie is now fully recovered and Gonzo has written her story, a promise to God to let the world know that miracles are possible, and to spread the words of Faith, Love and Harmony.

Gonzo lives in Florida with his wife and works as a jeweller. He has recently earned a Ph. D. having submitted Written with Tears as his thesis. Gonzalo is currently working on his grandfather's memoirs and hopes to publish them soon.
